metro 45/100 PT question

quickee question----
do i need to rough up those long filament and center tap leads b-4 soldering?
or r they good to go?

Roughing them up certainly can't hurt. And they are usually a bitch to solder to so anything that might help is worth it.

ok, thanks for the heads up! i knew some other trans. w/ the self-leads had
that red coating on them......sooo....figured i better ask!
