More progress shots. Fired it up today - no real issues. Sounds fantastic.
Only needs a bit of a clean up & the cabinet finishing.

Metro bare bones JTM45/100 chassis kit. Front panel from Ceriatone, Turret boards from Brian at repro turret boards, erie, lemmco's & mustards from Sparky, T/F's from Brian Wallace - Marstran, Snubber cap & decals (decals yet to be applied) from S. Marshall & lots of advice from Thousandshirts.

Anyhow

Thanks all.

Wayne

The cab actually looks cool uncovered like that.

But a proper tolex job would do that amp justice.

The 45/100 is my dream amp. :P

How do you get your component legs so strait? I look at yours, Will's, etc. And I"m jealous. LOL

Roll 'em gently on a flat surface, one side at a time.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
It has turned out to be my best build so far ! I really love this thing. Can't wait for it to "run in" a bit.
It's dead quiet - no hum or buzz.
I used the standard marshall earthing too - pot bus etc.

Brians Turret Boards are fantastic & make all the difference.

Mike - Will (thousand shirts) is right. I use two steel rulers. One laid down on the edge of my work bench. Then place the component lead on this ruler and use the other ruler to gentle role the lead between the two. Works perfectly.

Flames - the stuff on the shelves behind the drums does move around a bit when we crank things up. Biggest issue is my friendly neighbours though. I have had the police around here before - so we don't make to much noise here anymore :|

Got a day off today - so it's cabinet time !

Will post pics when done.

Thanks
Wayne
:D
