Nope, never seen that pic. In fact, the concert footage (movie) shows him playing a few stacks of Marshalls.

The monitor is probably just vocals. Remember the house sound came from those stacks. Standing right in front of the house sound I am surprised they didn't have to wear diapers on stage.
In the late 60s I saw the Who at the Grandi Ballroom fourth row on the floor. No monitors pathetic PA but two stacks a piece. We had no trouble hearing the instruments Daltrey was another story. We couldn't hear each other on the ride home. Hey we actually stayed seated too sure was a lot different time.

That would be too cool. MajorWatt has 3 Marshall JH stacks he has set up in his house...VelvetGeorge wrote:Fuckin awesome! We HAVE to set up a show like this, sometime, somewhere. C'mon, I know we could pull it off. And people who seen these shows would trip. Those of us who have only seen vidoes would trip too.
And Ross, that's unreal. We need to change your status to: hung out with Buddy Miles"!

And WOT has the pics to prove it.. We are not worthy..

I linked three Marshall stacks together at Jim Marshalls Hanwell shop, I tried this in 1969 and it was the most awesome experience.
Earth shattering, and not like these 18watt amps mic'd up through PA's these days live!
