I've only tried the Megavibe of those two, but I have exactly zero interest in other vibes after getting that. It's one of those pedals where you just realize how "right" it both sounds and "feels" the moment you plug in.

a lot of that info has been compiled into a DIY project called the forumvibe, which is probably the best vibe clone out there for folks who build their own pedals. some of the clips people have put up are phenomenal. the link for the project file is on that page:

the board layout is great, very flexible and allows for a very tweak-able vibe.

I think that Im really just chasing after tone and dont mind paying coin for it because its faster and all I really want is for it to sound good. I guess Im lazy and dont want to learn electronics just plug and play.

I dont feel like waiting in line for the KR musical mega vibe, so I think im gonna buy the bob sweet ultra vibe 2

The MegaVibe is worth the wait or the premium that's attached to them on eBay. I've had a number of clones including a Sweet vibe and nothing really feels as right as the KR unit.

Has anyone tried the BBE Soul Vibe or the Fulltone Deja Vibe MDV-2? The only one I have tried is the Dunlop, it muddied up the guitar tone a lot. It was only usable if I switched to the bridge pu.

yes, I've been using the mdv-2 since this summer. It's a keeper. but I have not tested all the other vibes

I've never noticed the difference in the tone of vibes much. I have the dunlop univibe/vibrato one and its always gotten the job done.

After looking and listening to the KR Electronics site, I have to admit, I'm sold, I'll be getting a Megavibe. :D 8)

The Aquavibe defintely looks interesting. It seems a bit more hifi than a Megavibe. I had a Captain Coconut for a while (rare rackmount prototype) that I should have never sold. The CC's had great sounding vibes in them.
