Warmoth doesn't do the exact specs for a Hendrix strat neck. They do make the maple cap neck, but you can't have a maple cap neck with a CBS style headstock for some reason. And from what I've seen, Musikraft is much more exact.mathd wrote:Nice work.
How much did the final cost average?
One question though.
Why the neck from musikraft and not warmoth? Just looking for good advice on my new project
It was shellac I believe, the basic covering. No nitro or poly. I love not having those two finishes on it, its so smooth and fast.theactor19 wrote:Sweet, I'm trying to get a Musikraft neck for my Olympic White Tokai Strat. Still deciding on the specs.
What kind of finish did you get on your neck?
Yeah warmoth doesnt make the neck with exact specs that I needed. Musikraft IMO had the best selection for what I was looking for.mathd wrote:Nice work.
