His guitar slung across his back, his dusty boots is his cadillac.

DIY Axis Fuzz pointer

Post by mdc1 » Sat Apr 30, 2011 7:54 pm

Anybody know which of the DIY sites are the best to use to approach building one of these. I noticed this schematic, is it relevant. Anyone here built one of these or some other scheme?

or this one:

both schematics are the same. I've seen gut shots and that schematic is accurate. it's been up forever so I'm sure there are build reports on DIYSB. there is also freestompboxes.org, DIYSB's "sister" site (though I wouldn't go talking about it on DIYSB   )

best of luck on your build!

The Axis Fuzz is a very good circuit, i personally like to keep the component in red, but use 220k instead of 220 ohm resistor, tweak to your need :)
