Sliders '69 Strat Pickups

Hey Guys,

This question is for those who own the Sliders '69 strat pickups. I want to know what they are like if you can give a review. How close do that get to hendrix's strat tone, specifically the two strats he used live from 68-70 (white strat, black strat)?

Also specify if you got the NOS wire for extra 100 bucks, and what your thoughts are on the NOS wire for this tone.

Thanks!

i have them, lefty, in a righty black strat, gilmour like.
they're fantastic, perfect for Hendrix. go for it.
i should do some clips sometime, recorded with ribbon mics.
for the bog tone, comparing the right setup with different strats and pickups, you need the slider's 69 pickups, clearly.
For woodstock tones it's perfect too. i had the same quest as you seem to have, and i don't need to look further now.
i didn't try the nos wire.

listen at 12 : 31 for a little woodstock attempt, after the machine gun attempt. but keep in mind that all this was made without speakers, virtual way for the acoustic of the room, and speakers. still, it might help giving an idea even if it's all with a fuzz, and univibe, into a 45/100

this clip, with a real speaker, but with the amp heavily attenuated ... i'm not sure if it was the slider's 69 set or the gold lace sencors. i don't remember. all i can say.

i'll do a little clip later to show a bit the slider's 69, without effects.

Thanks Xplorer, can you record a clip for me just guitar and amp?

Also would like to hear from Brandon. I know he got them with the vintage wire, so would love to hear his thoughts/clips.

thanks

His Jimi Set comes lefty staggert and has a great tone to my ears.
This guy is making fine handmade Pickups, owns a real Strat made in 69 and a bunch of Marshalls Heads and cabints
and by the way is the local guitarhero in his Hendrix Band.He knows his stuff
