I asked that YouTube guy about that amp, as well. He used high filtering. 80 uF. - 100 uF. I think he messed up the connection on the cathode follower, as well. Sounds perfect, but it's been messed with.

Have you seen SRV playing Third Stone From The Sun on the Live At The El Mocambo DVD, and through Fender BFSR's?

We all know that Jimi when using Fender amps didn't particularly favor Fender BFSR amps (BUT) SRV sure made those Super Reverb amps sing and dance to the tune. As everyone here (including yourself) would say it's all in the fingers. I just wish that my own chops were up to par such that I could elicit great tones from any amp I chose, just like the greats.

SRV in this clip plays Voodoo Chile and jams the Power of Soul I believe during the performance, using his Town and Country Marshall combos amongst other amps..
