Coily Cables - No more Bullet Cables.. now what?

Hey Guys,

We all know that one of the Hendrix tone secrets is to use coily cables as they cut off a bit of the high trebles.

I was about to order some Bullet Cables, but have seen that they has halted business for the time being. Who knows if they will come back.

I thought about Lava Cables, but they do something with their capacitance to make them act like regular cables, so there is no high-end cut. These cables strike me as being aesthetic only.

So what other good coily cables are out there that does what they are supposed to (cut the highs a bit), but is still good quality like Bullet?

Thanks!

I've been using Vox for the past three years with no problems.

I use a Fender coily cable with no issues. But for my tone sucking live I use a 30' from guitar to pedal board. 20' from pedal board to Echo Plex then 20' to amp so that's 70' of cable plus the little tone suckers on my pedal board. Sucks the tone perfect. Long cheap cables.. I use live wire cables. I also run guitar into wha first with no bypass for max suck.

I'd love to hear some A/B clips between some long lenght tone sucking cables, and some "normal cables".
Funny that we're after tone, and work in parallel to get some tone sucking devices ;)

Yes it seems Fender and Vox are the best choices, in the day I had a '15 gray coil cord to my Italian Cry Baby and Fuzz Face, it dies remove the piercing highs of a Strat through a Plexi Marshall, but one must never run the presence above 4 in any case, with the treble past 6 that is plenty with the middle also over 6.

I run my presence and treble on 8 but use lots of tone sucking cables and a vintage wha. Hear it at this link http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... dID=986468" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
