you can hear every take of Voodoo child slight return creation, same for Manish boy , etc ...
same for bob marley ! and some others.

i rearely came accross such rich mine of gold about Jimi, regarding his records.

Very cool! Just had a quick listen to a few of them, and not to rag on Jimi (who would I be to do that), but it makes me feel a little less bad about hearing my own flubs and fluctuating tempos when recording myself without any backing. Listen to Love or Confusion, for example...it's flub city and frequently out of tempo, but boy, does it work in a full band context!

Holy cow...just listened through Long Hot Summer Night, and wow...You've heard it all before, but not quite like this. Listen to Jimi give a masterclass in bluesy R&B playing, blurring the lines between rhythm and lead.

exact same feeling here, and i even find that some guitars alone sound even better than in the mix, the sound is pure, so nice. the playing feels sometimes less forgiving than in the mix but it's beautiful in its way too. you can observe the tone the real way it was, man it's good for the ears !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hold on, i'm downloading everything from this guy, one by one. there's ............. a lot !! it's like hundreds of unheard Hendrix stuffs ! and there's a lot of bog preparation and creation too .

Never really listened that closely to the bridge ending chords to Jimi's 'Angel' but after hearing it isolated, it sounds like EVH nearly directly lifted the bridge section of 'Blood and Fire' from Jimi's 'Angel' bridge chord sequence (right after the heavy Leslie)... Lol... Maybe it's in a different key, but it sounds the same to me...
