Old post, but yes it sounds interesting. I'm always on the hook when these "new" Hendrix releases get issued.

I bought this album, and I really love a lot of the material on here. I have no idea how much studio "artistry" might have been involved, but some of the tracks are sparse jams with little noticeable production, and better for it.
