New Here... my first restoration

Its a 1940 EH-100 Gibson.... It work after some tubes a power cord and a new speaker....
after several hours of use it took to a small amount of smoke...
nuthin serious just some resistors and some old caps
after 60 years this thing still worked which to me was amazing...it will work again with some tlc....i will go through the whole amp and replace what is needed here soon

Really cool project. Welcome to the forum. Years ago I found a post war BR-6 (I think that's what it was) at a rummage sale and fixed it up.
Perfect match for a lap steel.

Make sure you replace those old electrolytics. And please post a pic when it's done.

Cool fo sho. The laquer and finish still looks great on this old timer. Good luck with your future fixin's with the amp.
