Where to Start?

Hello, i think, well i know, that i'm a frickin worry wart. I'm removing my PCB in my 1976 2204 to install a Metro PTP 50 Watt Super Lead board and i don't know where to start, i'm gonna go ahead and replace the filter caps, so i'm gonna remove the board now and get started. I haven't even got the new board built yet, but i want the amp ready when the board is done. Any tips or pointers on where to begin would be really appreciated.
