Dual Bias
I've seen some boards online that have dual bias pots. In a 50 Watter you could individually set the bias for each tube. Is there an advantage or disadvantage to doing this. If this is so great, why haven't companies been doing this for years, just curious.

It allows you to use tubes that aren't so closely matched. Not a bad idea if you some old Mullards that are almost close enough to use together.
Manufacturers often don't put one bias adjustment pot, let alone two. It must be cheaper to use a resistor and buy thousands of tubes in the same range. Hense, no need for bias adjustment.
