When installing the Rich Mod Master Volume, Do you have to change the Output Coupling caps? I noticed George's kits have 2 Caps.

Sorry, did a little more reading, and George's kit states that the Caps in the Pic are not needed. What's everyone's experience with this mod?

Dax, one way of installing the MV adds (2) caps to the circuit. The Rich mod is the type II MV listed in my store. It doesn't use the extra caps. That seems to be the favorite. I notice that the tone doesn't thin out as much at lower volumes with the Rich type.

Excellent, but you do loose some dynamic respond but that's normal with any MV I guess. I'm gonna try a THD to see what's best for me.....

Dax, I installed that mod in my amp with some phone tech help from Flemingras. I really like the way it sounds. It took some getting used to at first because there is a bit more bass response at lower levels. I was told that this was a result of the amp driving the speakers like they would at normal volume. No biggy.

Flemingras also told me that once I get the mod installed to rebias my amp while the mod's pot is cranked. This, he told me would completely remove the mod from the circuit when dimed out. I have checked this out as well to see if there was any tonal change which I really found none.

It comes with a wiring diagram. Are you guys finding this to be sufficient? Or do I need to do a step by step type of thing?

No, the instructions were fine, maybe mention disconnecting the output caps and connecting the wires to them.
