PM sent.
I see that members have used this mod in MV amps, I'm guessing mainly Marshall. Was curious, with slight changes of course, would I be able to apply this loop to a Laney AOR Pro-Tube 50, it's based on the JCM800, minus the boosts? As far as tube layout, b/c there's extra space where the extra two output tubes would've gone if it was a 100 watt, I think that an extra 12AX7 would fit nicely. Thanks again.

Hi,
is there an opportunity of having the loop at constant instrument or line level (-10/+4 db; switchable) without changing the sound by altering the master volume (afterburner effect) ?
Which resistor could I replace by a pot in order to get a dry/wet regulator ?
If I put the conjunction between 820k and 180k to ground - doesn't the 220k/220p to ground affect the signal ?
Last but not least - can you send me your true bypass schematic ?
These modifications would make this loop godlike !!!
I appreciate you for providing such a piece of hard work !!! Thank you very much !

In my initial post among others I wrote:
The last time, that I've sent the loop schem after request to a board member was on March 6-th, but you Zyklon has joined this board on March 7-th!
You couldn't have got the schem from me, but obviously you have it, otherwise you couldn't know details like this:
Larry
And I've sent the loop schem to Metro board members only! To nobody else!novosibir wrote:Simply drop me a PM with your email address and tell me, whether you like to get the loop schematic as a pdf file or as a bmp file - and already I'd kiss it good bye to you!
The only I'm expecting from you is, that you keep it for your personal (or professional) use and that you don't forward the schematic to anybody else, because I really won't see 'my loop' anywhen in 1-2 years in Peaveys, Boogies, Soldanos, VHT's aso. again - and this even 'for free'! Hope, you understand![]()

Hi,
first I must say that you're right and I understand you !
Second: I tried to register on this board since one week but my (1st) account is still not confirmed. So I registered me a second time. By waiting several days for confirmation I asked another guy (which I told the story) for the schematics - he knows that I'm at other forums and help other people so he sent it to me. After this, my 2nd account was finally confirmed (?!).
I think you will understand me, I even won't forward the schematics !
It was not my intention to steal the schematics, but I couldn't get rigistered - so I didn't know what else to do. I hope you would forgive me.
Would be nice of you answering my questions, I think it wouldn't be that difficult for you
// An employee of one of the other amp brands could be registerd here and you could probably send your schematics to him by yourself without noticing his intention, too.

There was a consideration behind, as I wrote:

Not just fun or a bad temper! And I've trusted into the loyalty and discretion of the Metro board community!
Regardless that you're a member now, it shows up, as that only anybody has to contact somebody of the board members here, only has to tell any heart-rending story - and he already gets, what he wants
And already my appeal is past and forgotten, ha?
I think, that you and the other board members understand, that I'm really pissed now
And you should understand, that now I'm no longer in the mood, to answer you any further quest!
I've looked into your profile over at TubeTown - 19 years old (and therefore probably still very impatient?). I think, that you still have to learn some more internet behaviour!
Furthermore I expect a PM or email from that member, who has forwarded the schem to you!

Hey come on, as I said - I tryed to get registered but didn't get for a week !! That has nothing to do with impatience cause I thought there was a fault or sth. like that... doesn't matter...
Is there anything I can do to fix the problem? I really didn't want anybody to be disatvantaged because of me.
By the way, I got the schematic as I already WAS a member here because I got it on March 9th !!!

But he also said that this is for members of this board. The reason why he gave me the schematic was not because ANYbody asked him, but someone who tryed, but wasn't able to ask him.
So please come down.
It doesn't really make any difference asking you or another guy of the board for the schematic. You would have passed it me, too.

probably the other impatient kid who asked the same question 20 times before he admitted that he hasnt even tried to install the loop yet. I'm lovin mine.

I'm guessing that you are implying that I was the one who passed the schematic to Zyklon? Well, it wasn't me.jerrydyer wrote:probably the other impatient kid who asked the same question 20 times before he admitted that he hasnt even tried to install the loop yet. I'm lovin mine.
And, as stated, I will have an amp built later in the year. So, I don't even have an amp to put the loop in. As stated, I was trying to figure out what I was going to do, because I was going to get a rear panel made.
And I didn't ask the same question 20 times. I was trying to understand how to modify the loop so I could also have the opportunity to just use the poweramp. I don't understand all the terminology regarding amp parts and circuits. I know you told me that

More importantly, a builder as generous with his knowledge/experience/and time, as Larry, should be showed the courtesy of honoring a very simple, and reasonable request. When someone, especially a builder of Larry's stature, says don't forward it, DON'T FORWARD IT!!!!
Thanks You Larry, for you time and effort.

Larry deliverd a great loop (works great in my JMP), its a shame some one forwarded the schematic. Only Larry has the right to send the schematics!! I hope things will be sort out, and he returns to the board soon!!

Oke, just how many of you have actually finisched this loop and put it in an amp?
I put it in an jmp 2204 and it is by far the best loop I ever had.
I made it on a small board (PTP) and place the tube on it too. I place the whole board ouside the chassis (inside the head) so I drilled no holles in Amp
