Which caps do I need for XXX model?
To help make it easier for those of you ordering board kits without siganl caps. Here are the values you'll need in Sozos or your brand of choice.
A .1uf presence cap is included for each model.

(1) .0022
(6) .022
(2) .1
(2) .68
100 watt superlead '68 era:
(7) .022
(2) .1
(1) .68 (2) for split cathode
100 watt Superbass (same as '67 SL):
(5) .022
(4) .1
50 watt models are the same as the 100's.

Thought I might update this for people building other specs:
Ralle Spec:
(5) .022
(3) .1
(2) .68uf
****** EVH Spec:
(5) .022
(4) .1
(1).68uf (for the split cathode that the amp was changed to later)
Both these 2 specs need an additional electrolytic 330uF cap for the bypass cap on V2a Ck
I'll post some more as I think of them.

Just out of curiosity...
...if people order caps for and install them in XXX model, will that make their amp "XXX" rated?
Or does that simply mean that they're ordering "brand X" caps?

Re: Which caps do I need for XXX model?
The latter circuit was a 25k pot with the .68 and a 4k7 shunt resistor. The earlier circuit was a 5k pot with only the .1 cap. Some where shipped with a 5k pot and the 68/4k7 set up. If yours is like that u can simply switch to the .1 and have the old circuit. Which I like better.David_Well wrote:My 73 Super bass got a .68 in presence....

I see u have 2 .68 caps on the 68 split cathode version. Was there a .68 across the v2 of many shared cathode amps???
