Modding a Fender PA100

Post by tonejones » Mon Feb 07, 2005 1:57 am

Hey guys,

I'm currently collecting parts to do a Marshall head, but I've got this Fender PA100 head that I know my amp tech buddy would luv to mod for me (also wanna get me a little bit of Marshall fix through this since I'm without :( ).

Here is a link to the schematic, and really don't know jack about modding. So what would be the best way to go with this to get a genuine Marshall sound???

Thanks in advance.......

PS I could stick the Obsolete output tranny in here that I purchased from Sozo if need be......[/url]
Let's get going, 'cause there's too much music, too little time!!!!

Anybody????

Got five gain stage to work with (12AX7s currently) a 12AX7 PI and 4 6L6s (but then this is modding so they can be changed easily), no less than 12 250k pots and 2 100Ks(also easy to replace), 8 1/4" inputs, huge 1975 iron!!!!
