I have this amp built by a builder that isn't in the business anymore, where I live nobody will touch this, so before I have to pack and ship this thing, I have a few things I wanted to ask:
How is the biasing done in this amp? I've done this to other amps, but I don't know if the London Power thing changes anything or what.
What does the dual pot thing does? It's a control called limit, does affect the overall gain and volume of the amp, but I always wanted to know what it actually does and if there's any setting that would give the "stock" plexi thing.
The third I guess it's the hard one, it's about mods. I've done a few pedal mods, I do ok with a soldering iron, but I have no clue of what I'm actually doing, I just follow instructions. Is there any mod I could do to the amp? Don't get me wrong, the amp sounds fine as is, but it's not "that" sound for me yet. I read about the cascate/one wire mod, always wanted to try it, but my amp layout looks a bit different and I'm not really sure how to do it from pictures. Any other mods to give a little more oomph would be appreciated. Besides, if any of you guys see anything I could do to improve the amp somewhat, some tips or wherever, I'm all ears.
