Hi!

I have just finished a vox ac15 build. Installed tubes and turned it on and no sound is coming out. No hiss or hum or anything even if volume and mastervolume is full up. No crackling sounds when poking the primary leads connected to powertubes.

Signal path is ok (can't find any errors), OT seems to be ok. OT secondary common is connected to ground, and 4ohm and 8ohm taps are connected to own jacks.

When all volume is full up I can hear distorted sound from the amplifier/OT?? Nothing from speaker. I allmost think that output is grounded.

When I check for continuitys in OT secondaries, the 4ohm and 8ohm sees ground, but should it? The secondary winding common is connected to ground so does it confuse things? Or have I just wired the output jacks wrong? They are plastic type where there are switches.

Any Ideas?

Found the problem. I connected the secondary wires wrong to cliff jack. When the speaker plug was pushed in the ground and OT common was lifted up and there was only 8ohm tap going to speaker.
