Small Cap at V1...Why?

I was looking at a Marshall 2204 Layout, and I noticed a 100pf cap between pin 6 and pin 8 of V1. What is this suppose to accomplish?

It helps to curb oscillations. Larger values will knock off a touch of high end also.
