Larry Grounding using PCB standoffs

I've successfully used the Larry grounding in many of my DIY builds with great success.

I recently acquired a 1979 JMP Master Volume and it has a fair amount of hum and noise.

I would like to implement the Larry grounding but don't want to drill the chassis given it's original.

Has anyone ever done the Larry grounding using the PCB standoffs as the grounding points using these ground lugs?
