Bianchi Mustard Caps

Post by Silmaril » Mon Sep 03, 2018 3:35 pm

Hey I am new on this forum,
I found out on this forum, that Bianchi Mustard Caps are like Mullard Mustard Caps. But I wonder why they are the half Price of a Mullard? Does Bianchi sound the same like Mullard or are there differences?

Then Does the Date of production on Mullard Mustard Caps have influence on tone??

Mustard caps were manufactures all over the world under different names. Bianchs factory was located in Spain and does use the same tooling as the normal caps. Miniwatts mustards were probably manufactured in South America so id avoid those and there are a handful of other Musards manufactured as well.

The Bianchi caps do look a bit different. The varnish is very bright compared to the Mullard caps.

Possible date (and even factory N,P,H ect) can influence the cap if the meterials or sources for the ingredients changed.

The 60's caps a physically bigger

OK Thank you.

Are Bianchi produced only in the 70`s?

Is it worth to save the money, and to take Bianchi Caps? I could get them for the half Price of a Mullard.

I don't know what years they were made. Don't think they have dates on them.

Its up to you and your wallet. Doubt you will hear a differance
