Hi,
I am new to this excellent forum.
I would like to convert on side of my 9100 power amp to run on el34's. That would give me the choice of using either 5881's or el34's.
I understand that the transformers are fine but that some resistor changes and a re-bias will be needed. I also plan to modify the tray so that the taller el34's will fit under the hood...
Has anybody here carried out this conversion and if so, what steps are needed? I do have the Marshall schematics so no problem referring to the schematic part numbers.
Kind wishes and many thanks in advance...

Hey!
I'm currently thinking of doing the same. Did you mod it?

No... I still plan to one day but other things took over.
