Messauring with ocilloscope

Hello people. It's been a while since I've been here... good to be back. Thing is I need some help/advice regarding messauring with an ocolliscope; What could I expect to see when looking at the output from the treble pot into the tonstack, wich is 250 pF/56k? What I am seing is a wave form that spikes downwoards more than upwoards... there is just a tiny spike on the right upper corner while the spikes downwoards are much longer... is that wrong with this type of tonestack? Should it be the same on both possitive and negative sides? Thanx in advance/Ralle
