ok gang....here's a question that just baffles me
Marshall came out with this "true by-pass" effects loop in their re-issues. Does it really work? I had a Marshall VS265 (no laughing please), and the effects loop would still change my sound even though all of my effects were off. It sounded better with the loop turned off. So with this true bypass idea, does it fully bypass the loop?
Anyone got one?

When the loop is off is when it is True Bypass. If the loop is engaged you are still running through all of your effects which will degrade your sound. The loop is made so your "tone sucking" effects can be taken completely out of the signal path when you are not using them.I had a Marshall VS265 (no laughing please), and the effects loop would still change my sound even though all of my effects were off. It sounded better with the loop turned off. So with this true bypass idea, does it fully bypass the loop?
