Anyone know where to get correct fitting faceplates for this chassis? I have a new face plate I got from one of the forum members and I think it will be a good fit as I compared it to my other 10/12xxx clone. The back will be more of a challange I think. Kinda sucks to have to do all the measurements and send it off to be custom made. Even one that is not drilled would be great. I guess we do what we have to do.

You're welcome to checkout any time. I have (25) chassis in production and made them all available for sale.

I was denied Paypal checkout because my address wasn't verified. Just click the "I wish to be billed with Paypal" or whatever option, and George will send you a Paypal invoice. That worked for me.

(PS: did you get the package I sent, Roe?)

I count two left. The fab place usually runs a few extra, but I cant rely on that. We are about cleaned out for this run.

I'm calling to check on the progress today.

That's all of them. Store listing is offline again. Actually went one over, so 26 total.

George,

Would you forsee any issues using Classic Tone Dual Voltage PT in the '68 chassis? I was looking for a schematic and saw your post about not making one public...well understood. Unfortunately the Heyboer laydown dual voltage (Metro-spec) is a bit past my budget for this build and I need a dual voltage for the Virtual Variac.

Thanks again for making this run available.

Music Ground has some quthentic looking rear panels, but they are damn expensive - it was 50gbp last time i checked. but you can try to negotiate the price down a bit - it worked the last time i attempted it with their Marshall logos.

I was referring to the mounting layout of the 12000 chassis (not the schematic for the variac circuit) and whether it could accomodate a standup PT (like the one I linked).

Thanks!

A stand up PT? :what: That defeats the whole purpose of getting a 68 chassis.

Thanks for clearing that up. Sorry for the noobish questions. I didn't really understand that '68 = laydown...wasn't sure what my PT options were.

I wish I jumped into this project back when George had his kits available =(
