I tried twisting the wires with a drill but it got too tight.
Maybe I'll try again next time if I build another amp. I'm quite happy how I got the wires twisted without the drill.

I've settled on no more than two twists on the pre sockets and one twist between the power sockets, no noise and it looks kind of organic and fluid, kind of the Daodejing of heater wiring. Still, Shannon was right, because I needed a nap after doing my last heaters.

well, the guy in the video do it so fast. If you can dial the drill speed you get a nice twist without over tightness.

Your build looks great so far. I agree with the other post here, telling you to finish the build before you modify it. Since it is your first build, don't bite off more than you can chew.

Make sure to post some sound clips when you get it finished.

After you do your mods, maybe you can post some Nightwish riffs for us.

I'll post some clips when it's finished. I'll propably need to put some more turrets on the board for the Slash mod but I haven't studied the mod that far yet. Maybe I'll build another board later which has the Slash mod.

Today I did the mains-fuse and the AC-cord socket by using "Cloth Pushback" 18AWG-wire because that was all that came with the kit. Is it okay to do it with this "Cloth Pushback" 18AWG-wire?

Then I soldered the jumper-wires to the turretboard by using yellow 22AGW Push-back-wire. I'm not sure if this is the right wire for these connections but again that's all that came with the kit.

Today I went to the workshop at 7 am and worked on my doom's day device for almost 10 hours straight.

I had to install the turretboard with only three screws because the holes were drilled wrong. Then I had to mark some of the yellow 22AWG wires with a black marker pen and now the wires look kinda dirty.

How does my wire routing look?

I wasn't sure if I should twist the yellow wires that connect to the 5.6K resistors on V5 and V6:

What is the correct angle for these 5.6K resistors? I think I have to solder them again, because I've been accidentally touching them too many times and moving them around.

On Sunday I wired the pots and v1 and v2.

I guess there are better ways to wire the pots. I just started wiring them to the same way that is shown on the TAD's layout picture:
