Should this amp put out the same vol. as my 100 watt SL because its quiet. and very weak.

470K instead of 470R in the PI? Frequently cause of this description.

If that is ok suggest you carefully check your voltages and then the grounds, particularly on the inputs.

These are very loud amps

I figured out the issue last night. I NEVER grounded my presence pot. DOAH Once I did that it became as loud as my 72 SL and sounds as better.WOW
On the other hand is there a chart for all the voltages to check?
To make sure this thing is working properly all the way threw!

Edited:
I am having noise issues?
Are these amps really noisey?
as I turn up the presenceit sounds like its scracky, is that a bad wiper in the pot?

After sometime of working on this amp I saw that the bias pot was never grounded? Thanks to Neikeel I found this.
I wonder if this has a lasting affect on the amp in anyway besides power tubes?

No it just affects the ability to get proper bias, particularly when using the PPIMV. It will be fine 8)

So it just gives you wrong readings because that part of the circuit isn't grounded. I got ya. Thanks man.
