power board wiring
hey dudes---
i'm referencing BB's layout of the 12xxx. i'm just double checking this-----
does the red wire from the side tab of the HT fuse holder connect to the far right mains cap? ---and THEN connects from there to the rectfr. diode cluster?
thanks for any help on the matter!!

Re: power board wiring
I've seen it that way & also going to the cluster first from HT fuse & then to the mains cap. I did mine the latter way using this picture as a reference with no problems. Not sure if one way is more "correct" then the other, maybe someone else will chime in if there is. Hope that doesn't confuse you more.

Re: power board wiring
no,.....no confusion. thanks man! i was pretty sure that was the deal but i
couldn't tell where that wire went .....and if it was sorta the same wiring as a later model 1959.
the other wires going under the boards are sorta "ghosted" on the layout----you can still see them. that particular wire wasn't. so, as usual, i start to
overthink things and confuse myself!
plus i'm double and triple checking myself on the cap board wiring. my cans have both terminals on one end......so that sorta changes things a bit.

Re: power board wiring
Cool! Yeah, I always triple check all my work on everything. It pays off in the end. I've built two amps so far, a 69' & 68', and both fired up right away with no problems!!
Good luck on the rest of your build!!!
