12xxx build ...stupid question .022 or .010 ??

I am getting my parts together to build the 12xxx and would like to ask a dumb quesion. The list of parts posted by Geroge for the 12XXX series shows (2) .022 @ 400v PI coupling caps and but the pictures in here of almost all your 12xxx builds show you are using (2) .10@400 volts coupling caps, sort of like bass specs or '67 models. Which is really correct. I didn't see a revision posted in here anywhere. I know there are other '67-68 variations but I just wanted to know why I see two versions of the 12xxx. Not that it matters, but I would just like to do the correct thing and know why I'm doing it over the other. Thanks for your help in advance. All of the archive pics on the 12xxx in the Plexi Replica section of his site show .022 is correct.

beide sind korrekt! marshall used both. I prefer the smaller caps. .027, .033 and .039 is also great. .1 is overkill with the 220s imho

Thanks for the input. It seems Geroge likes the smaller ones in his 12xxx archive pictures as well. All of his builds use .022 I just wondered why the other builder are using .10. I know the .10 are cheaper to buy. Mabey that's it. .022 are also harder to find. I will go ahead with the .022 as I have several. Thanks again.

You will have a lot more bass in the final power stage with the .1uf caps.
If you have both .1 and .022 then try them each to see which flavor you like.
