I was going to post pictures here and just got lazy... mac makes it too easy and I already had a domain name.

Tons of fun building this one, comments are always welcome! As always thanks to all the forum members who share knowledge and make this addiction never ending. And thank to George for his awesome chassis and his spec'd trannies. Just good stuff.

Paul

Looks good. I bought a few sets of NOS Mustards, should have just gone with the SOZO's as well.

Great looking build! I haven't tried the Sozos yet. I just bought 2 of Georges last batch and will check them out on at least one of them. Once again...Good Work!!

Thanks Paul for posting those pictures. Now I ground the pots in the early stages of the build as well, makes life allot easier down the road.

Hey thanks to you both, I really appreciate the kind words. I went painstakingly slow on that build... I think I stopped every 5 minutes to think forward like 5 steps. The order of things was definitely the most I've thought about a problem outside of my day job. I'm really happy with how it turned out (and more importantly how it sounds).

I'm with you on the latest round of chassis's, two for me as well! I'm trying to decide what to make the next ones. What a good problem to have.

I'm planning on putting some clips together hopefully this weekend... if not then, very soon.

Great-looking build!

What is the sound clip under this link here from?: http://www.paulburnette.com/Pauls_Amp_S ... Demos.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ok, i get it - it's the Slash amp. But what was the original amp that this #36 is based on - a MV 100w Super lead? Which year?

Thanks!

Hey VC, thanks for the compliments. That amp is another Metro 100W'er. I built it starting as a '69, then morphed it into a Mk II 1959 with 6550's. The 100w JMP 1959 was the basis for the #36. From that to try and recreate the #36. It's just one of those on going things I've got on my bench at various times.
