Thats the clip of Mark A. (Rockstah) that led me to get one of Metro's last 12xxx kits back in the spring of 2010.

The trannies are:

Metro/Heyboer lay down power transformer 1203-80-ml
Metro/Heyboer output transformer c1988
Metro/Heyboer 5H choke 352-114

I've got essentially the same kit coming from Valvestorm right now minus transformers. I'm trying to decide between a Drake or Dagnall sound.

Your in good hands with ValveStorm, he can also get discounts on tranny's especially if we can get a group order together. George has several dual tap Dognall PT's he is selling in the classifieds, if you just tap the 152's for a B+ around 430v you will be in some good sag territory. Marstran's 2562 and 1998 would be a good choice too, then of course there is Chris' tranny's.
Is that Mark's playing? I thought this clip was from somebody elses shop.

The spec listed is as per VH1 amp (although a 354-114 is actually a 3H choke and the original OT for that amp is a T2562 Dagnall).

Roger, surely you jest, thats some great tone there. I actually think that the clips picture isnt the amp being used ? Pretty sure thats 'ol Mark (rip) who was playing. The Heyboer trannies have sounded best to me so far, in respect to Ed's old tone, or just good 'ol Marshall tone period.

That is the direct track that Mark recorded for George... the original track was in the Sound Clips forum(might still be)... I'm guessing that this as a video of George's equipment with that track played thru it...

That's right. Iirc, Mark recorded a Clean, guitar line-in track for George to re-amp through his shop rigs. Did I get that right? Re-amp?
Anyway there's a clip of same track thru a 50w too? Maybe even a '69?
Think I remember Mark & George laughin about how wonky it sounded all direct guitar signal line in with no meat on it! That means he played that shit Acoustically!
The VG runs it through the rig and BLAMMO!
That vid inspired me to get a 1987Lead & 1959SLP kits from VG.
Go stock, then tweak from there!
