PI resistor values

Hello everyone,my name is Charles and I would like to Thank everyone here for all the insight. I have not posted much as I do not own a computer ,but take a gander when I am able. I built a Metro 45 kit awhile ago and someone mentioned losing those damn PI values (10k and 470 between 1megs) for 6.8k and 820. I was wondering what effect this has. My 45 stays pretty clean and sounds wonderful ,but not nearly as dirty as some I've heard here. Thanks everyone, this place is a blessing!

that's the fender blonde era specs. it sounds and feels a little different. a matter of taste really. a smaller tail can sound a little punchier

Thanks for the heads up.I have looked at tons of schematics and often wondered why such different values and what their effect. Maybe no better way than to fire up the iron and test drive a few options.
