I have a question on an amp I just finished, its a metro 50 watt plexi everything checked good as far as voltage except on
power tubes pin 5. I am supposed to be getting a negative reading 30 to 42 volts I am getting negative 67 volts the Bias pot is turned all the way down when I turn it up the volts go up when I check pin 1 with the 1 Ohm resistor on it and I'm getting 0 reading for the Bias no matter how much I turn the bias pot. all the bias resistors values are right to the layout the resistor that feeds the bias pot is 47K the resistor for reverse bias rectifier diode is 150K does anyone have any suggestions?

Re: 0 bias reading on power tubes
You will not get a bias sense reading until the power tubes are installed; and, of course, the power tubes should not be installed until the bias voltage is sorted out. Try increasing the value of the 150k resistor to 180k or 220k. That should make the bias voltage less negative.
