Loop for 45/100

Post by DoctorTim » Sat Apr 04, 2020 4:00 pm

I bought a 45/100 kit build recently, and I love it but my life would be simpler if it had a loop. I use amp switching and going between my Two Watt and my ‘Marshall’ is frustrating as I lose my stereo effects that are routed via my pedal interface’s loop. Would a Zero loss loop fit in a 45/100? Am I making any sacrifices by doing this? Is there a different loop I should try? My guitar tech says adding a loop will unfavorably alter my amp’s tone.

FWIW, I run a wet dry wet set up. Currently I use a Suhr ISO out to split out line level on my 45/100 for my stereo effects which feed a Fryette 2/50/2 power amp.
