Shipping Ampeg B-15's

Post by VelvetGeorge » Tue Feb 08, 2011 4:17 pm

We had some fun today when the truck came to get the pallets of Ampeg B-15's. Something had to be done since it was about 8 degrees!

Ampeg really liked the pictures, they uploaded them to Facebook right away!

Probably the "civilian" Colt Ar-15, or a knock-off.

Congrats George!!!!

Correct. Real AR-15's. Effectively an M-16 without the full auto switch.

Curt (on the left) collects and restores guns.

You'd be stylin' better with my Winchester 66 Centennial lever action though. I likes my cowboy guns.

And some the greatest guns are British such as the FAL on the right. (Actually, I can't see enough to determine if it's a British "Inch" FAL or the "Metric" FAL the rest of the free world used.)

No need to be afraid of firearms. Owning and using firearms is safer than many other sports. If you build amps, some folks might think the 450 Volts commonly found in an amp it scarey stuff. But knowing the rules makes amp building safe. Likewise, knowing the rules of firearm ownership makes owning and using firearms safe.

Looks like I'd get along well with George and his friends.

Now I've got to ask... Why a shipment of Ampegs? I looked around on the forum and couldn't find an answer. The Ampeg B-15s got my attention since I built and an Ampeg B-15N clone for my wife last year. (She plays bass in our band.)

ETA: I looked further and found the answer. Congradulations on getting the contract w/ Ampeg.
