Well at least that is a good problem,G! Glad to hear you're busy. The other shit? Well, hang in there, Bro. I know it's tough. Lemmee know if you ever need to take a break and come visit. As always, mi casa, su casa (and you can ride the Softail! It's not vintage old but as an '87 it's not very new either! :D )
Hang in there, George.. It´s tough, I know. And it you´re ever in my neck of the woods you can always crash on my couch...

Hi Guys!

Eagerly awaiting long reports, clips, vids and pics. This must have been a very interesting oportunity to hear originals and clones head to head. Eye (ear) witnesses, please keep us posted! :)

The folks at Dangerousguitar.com video taped all three sessions and recorded the third on Pro tools so there will be something forthcoming just as soon as they wade through hundreds of hours of editing. It was a real blast to blaze through all those stellar sounding amps and my good buddy Greg Martin stopped by Sunday and let me play his ole 58' Lester through them too! Lots of fun and it was really LOUD!

All of George's amps sounded stellar as did the other builder's and the general consensus was that the clones sounded every bit as good as the originals! Many thanx to George, Greg Germino,Brian Wallace, and Bob Reinhardt for allowing me the honor of demoing their amps in this hallowed hall of tone!

And I made a grave error in not mentioning my better half in this project which was Jack Hamilton who manned all the speaker cable duty behind the wall. He's the one standing next to Greg Martin in the pic and I couldn't have done it without him!

I just spoke with the owner of Dangerousguitar.com the other day and they are still compiling all the footage which he says was very substantial. Some of the video has to be synced to outside audio sources and there were multiple cameras and it gets very complicated but yes he assured me that the footage would be forthcoming just as soon as possible.
