I took DRH's new 50 watt plexi replica down to the John Mayer show.

Here's a pic of his rig:

50 watt with early specs

100 with '67 spec

2-12 cab with Tone Tubby's one alnico and one ceramic

I have a short clip too. But it's 6.5Meg. I'm not sure how to reduce the size and post it. I can't really throw it on Youtube.

Any ideas?

A demo of Vegas did the trick. The video quality is terribly low. Let me know how this file size works.

The file worked fine for me. Sounds good!

Did he mic the alnico speaker for the PA?

Yep, the alnico. With an M160 ribbon mic.

From what I was hearing it not only had great tone, but equally important on stage, is that it would cut through the band without an "ice-picky" quality or piercing edge. Very nice.
