Does anyone know how to get rid of the buzzy low end in plexis?
I would like to have a cleaner tighter low end in my plexi. So what can I do?

Thanks

There are several potential causes and solutions but we need more info.

What amp (kit, vintage, reissue, Metro replica)?
How old are the filter caps?
How old are the power tubes?
Is it biased correctly?
Are your speakers okay?

It is a metro kit. I installed a Lee Jackson mod. Bias ok. Tubes about a 2 years. Speakers ok. Filtercabs are 4 years.

Thanks

Was the bass response okay before the Lee Jackson mod? What is the mod (extra gain stage, etc.)?

It's really hard to say without knowing your exact specs and how you set the amp but here are some very general ideas for "cleaner tighter low end":

- decrease V1a cathode bypass cap (only if you use the normal channel or jumper the channels)
- decrease first coupling cap(s) after V1 (example: change from 0.022uF to 0.0022uF)
- increase negative feedback
- increase filtering
