Hi guys !

Please tell me , How to mount securely the ARS 50/50 caps into mounting clamps? ARS caps seem to be a bit thinner. What would you recommend ? I have these kind of typical mounting clamps available at velvestorm store (Medium Can Clamp
1 3/8"). Is it possible to use some tape inside the clamp like window isolation tape ? THNX

Ferrous clamps won't really wick the heat anyway. Not a concern. It's an old time practice to use rubber strips in capacitor clamps where the size varies. I have even seen a few of John Farlowe's Exposure amplifiers leave the factory like it when Rifa changed it's capacitor specs.

I have put these in many amps from 69-75 and they fit fine for me.

The UK ARS must be skinnier than the US ones

I had to put a wrap or two of electrical tape on mine but I like Neikeel's suggestion better. Gotta go find some old inner tubes now!
