That voluminous chassis space and the free preamp tube hole just scream out, "Mod Meeee!"

Looking Good, Mang!

Looks Great George!
Is this beast wired up with the dual voltage PT @ the high voltage option?
Just curious.
I'm sure this amp's going to be a huge hit this weekend! 8)

Thanks guys! I played it for a while breaking it in and was nailing some Bad Company, AC/DC etc. It can get surprisingly heavy too, just like my original 2203. I think when people play it they will understand why a 2203 is the basis for so many rock guitar players tone. It covers a lot of ground. And many times it just sounds right.

It does have the dual voltage PT, it comes stock. But is wired for high voltage.

And it definitely is just daring you to throw a mod in all that open space. Once the kit is rolling out the door, I'll start putting together mod/tweak kits. Some will have an extra little board and tube socket.

Awesome!! How are you gonna switch between the regular 2203, and the mod?

Hi George, will the chassis fit in the BB combo cabinet? Or maybe with some modification?

Thanks,

Excellent! Will you be providing a "Metroamp can assemble your kit for you!" option?

I hope will be able to assemble this kit as well. The guys here love putting them together.

I'm using the square version of the 3H MM choke. It measures the same as the choke in my original 2203.

Will the chassis fit one of the vintage style head boxes? I'm not real big on those plastic corners. Thanks.
