Well guys, I've missed the projected ship date on these kits. My sincere apologies to those who pre-ordered and expected kits to ship on May 15th. I worked desperately to meet this deadline. But in the end, the kit being correct, authentic and amazing sounding took precedence over being on time.
Please know that I'll do everything I can to ease the pain of waiting.

Here are some details:

Aluminum panels were tough to get done and done right. The color, brushing etc took some prototyping. Also it's hard to screen print on the brushed material and it took some trial and error.

I revised the wiring and layout a few times to make it more logical and also to prevent noise.

I spent a lot more time on the instructions for this kit. They will end up at about 60 pages total. 35 assembly steps, 6 testing steps and a large APPENDIX. I also spent some money on lighting and time learning to shoot better pictures.

Big thanks also to SDM who provided diagrams for the kit. He took the instructions to another level. Far beyond what they would have been had he not been involved.

Lastly, all the parts are in and ready to start shipping now. With one big but: the headcabs were made with gold piping on the front, not white as I spec'ed. I'll have the correct piping on Tuesday. If anyone is interested in a kit or a JMP cab with gold piping, please let me know.

What tubes are in this amp in the video? I'm assuming JJ E34L? and JJecc83 preamps?

Is the amp compeletly stock?

Actually, we had a power issue in the room Friday night that took out a JJ E34L, so I had to install my spare set of Mullard RI EL34's.

looks great, I think I'm getting ready to to do this, will this fit in a standard JMP 2203 head cab? also what is the forecast for the mods (gain stages etc.)

The resistors that you use for 6550 and EL34 tubes, I'm assuming in the above diagram they are for EL34 tubes? What resistors would be swapped to what for 6550 tubes? Reason is I have plans on ordering some Metal Film resistors. And any chance that you could order the PEC pots as speced in the diagram?

And yes I'd also like to get the scoop on what the plans are for the extra tube. I was playing on a JCM800 2203 the other day, and it was way too clean. I didn't boost it, but figured having an extra gain stage would be a good idea. I'd like it to be able to get Soldano gain. But I'd also like to be able to play it stock as well via just 3 gain stages.

The changes for 6550 amps are:
15K resistor in place of the 27K bias input resistor.
Two 220K grid leaks ("bias splitters") changed to 82Ks.
NFB attached to 4 ohm tap rather than 8 ohm tap.

This will all be covered thoroughly in the instructions, George has gone above and beyond on trying to hit all the details for this kit.

Thanks man. Are you by any chance working on an extra gain stage since it has an extra preamp tube hole? I'd like to be able to have the stock 2203, then the extra gain stage 2203. I'd like the extra stage to have the level of gain of a Soldano, but keeping the noise to a minimum if possible.
