NOS Filter Cap Question

I'm thinking about building a 2203 circuit here maybe around Christmas or early 2010, and I'm wondering about the filter caps. I know theres a procedure you can do with NOS caps in your amp to form them, but what do you do if you're building from scratch and don't have an amp to put them in?

What do NOS 50uFx50uF LCR's go for usually? Are they hard to get? What can you expect to pay for a set of 6 of them?

Thanks

Not sure if you have read this thread but it goes through all the necessary steps of reforming caps.

Somewhere in there Larry discussed making a temporary bread board for forming caps out of an amp.

If your vintage caps show any signs of leaking or bulging I don't think I would mess with them.

You really aren't gaining anything by using them.

I for one would want brand new filter caps in a new amp.

Here is the thread:

LCR's are worth it though. Damned expensive and incredibly rare now, mind.

Just scooped up 6 of them, 4 from 95 and 2 from 93 off eBay. I look forward to hearing these babies. :)
