Triode Electronics 2203 done

Post by Stretchy2 » Wed Jan 04, 2012 10:49 pm

Just want to let you guys know that I've finished my Triode Electronics kit, a 2203 kit ans want to let you know that it is sweet. If someone here on the lookout for a nice kit since George doesn't provide these anymore, Triode Electronics kit is awesome.

Note that you wont have a nice step by step guide like the metro ones, but the end product is very sweet sounding. This is my second build (build a metro 1959 last year, just before the kits were dropped), so I guess the experience gained there help a bit, but I had no issues building it, sounded great on the first try!

Been a while... I guess I was too busy playing the thing.

I'll post pics later on, on the recording side... I'm really not good with that, what's the east way to record a good clip mic wise ?

You can use a basic sm57 or sennheiser e609. Then an interface with a mic preamp and you are set.
