I just finished my second build from George. I checked all voltages and bias twice. I'm not even getting a hiss from the speakers. (I checked the cab with an amp, no problems)
I used input cliff jacks on the outputs, possible problem?
I tried getting readings across the cliff jack and impedance switch. I was looking for the 13.4 ohms I have from the cab. Basically not getting a reading.
The PI resistors are all correct.
Is there a way to read the imp. switch to check for power? I hate to keep checking things with no load; not sure if the amp is seeing a load at this point.
Tubes are not redplating.
Much thanks!

Are the speaker jacks grounded? Should have a wire going to a ground lug, very important!

Re: 2203 build, no power at speakers?
I got it running!!
One of the output cliff jacks was bad, amazingly. Very confusing last couple of days. Ths standby switch is also suspect, making a thumping sound already!
But it works, and it cranks! My ears are ringing. Have to adjust the bright caps, at least.
Thanks Fritz.
