Ed's tone is better than it has been in years that's for sure. It's still missing those subtle nuances that make you appreciate his skill like flutter of his pick attack while hummingbird picking etc.

I think Dave could sing a lot better than he does.
He keeps on trying to sing higher than he needs to, and even higher than what he recorded some songs at. He could be great if he would back away from his head voice, which he does not control well at all ...
I don;t know why he has this urge to scream everything these days, because he could just sing these songs lower and be awesome at it (Robert Plant?).
