Talkin about the EVH OD pedal? The one I could give two flyin F's about??? Yes... Probably so.. Sadly. That ad made me SOOOO NOT INTERESTED AS I WAS BEFORE IT CAME OUT

It's all money. They are only selling so many of those 5150 3's at 3K plus a cab at 1K or whatever they are. Maybe a few thousand amps per year? I don't know.

But the pedal at a couple hundred bucks will sell a boatload. With that math there is more cash in it for the EVH machine. Way more than the amp product I think.

And all 3 major guitar magazines ran glowing reviews of this pedal, saying things like, "It's so close, even Ed lost track of which he was playin' thru- the pedal or the 5150 amp..?" I'm sure it's a good pedal, but if I play me some VH chords and such, I learned a LONG time ago to start with a Marshall tube amp as the foundation of the sound, and go from there... I wouldn't mind tryin' the pedal out, but I wouldn't ditch my whole rig to run after this like one in a group of lemmings... Ed already fooled me once back when that 5150 2x12 combo came out- NEVER AGAIN Ed...
