Scroll down a bit. There's clearly gaffer's tape on the bottom of his wah. As if he didn't want it to travel all the way and shut off. It's not present in other pictures. So based in his tone at the time, and YT clips I've seen where it sounds and looks like he's trying to place the wah in a certain position after using it. Clearly staring at it and moving it slightly while playing rhythym. I assume it's taped to stay in that position. Again the tape is not there later in the tour and that duck quack is also gone. When I saw them in 2007 he sounded like typical Ed. No duck quack that is all over some YT clips.
