So glad the guys have grown up. Being an incredible musician is worth millions. Maturing is priceless.

Y'know, that sounded snarky and I didn't mean it that way at all. I'm just really happy for them.

This is really nice. For them to treat each other like human beings...especially Dave controlling his mouth (pretty much):)

Eddie being sober and David growing up - it is a different dynamic. It is a better dynamic. I hope that they are able to do more of this, and continue to make music together after this.

Of course that will be hard if they each pocket $20MM this summer. Hard to keep going when there is money in the bank like that and they will be very, very tired almost-60-year-olds.

I always thought the ultimate wedding would be being married by Alex Van Halen. Seriously.
Those guys are showing some nice class there.

I just think they are older now, and are cutting the crap so to speak. Drama gets old, and when people get older, it seems that it gets tiring. I think they just want to play music and have fun while they are still able to do it! Very classy, and DLR kept his cool! He wasn't all over the place... well not as bad anyway! LOL

I loved watching this. I think they felt more comfortable having Dave "interview" them than anyone else. You can feel the openness.

funny how here i am again watching the interview as cheerleader-in-chief. just cheering them on - sitting on the edge of my chair hoping and cheering that i don't see a train wreck - cheering the underdog on - go ed, keep being patient and articulate as we know you are - come on dave keep being relatively normal - come on al please don't hit dave. hahaha!   GO TEAM FIGHT! :vh:

I took piano until I was 10. The teachers name was Bertha Ruggles. Her husband drove the school bus. I hated that fucking piano.
